1st Annual Surfathon - SUCCESS!!
Wow! What a week-end! The MAWP 2007 1st Annual Surfathon was a HUGE success! Thanks to the die-hard surfers who were willing to risk the urban runoff in the ocean and hit the waves anyway, we had a minimum of two surfers in the water at all times for all 24-hours of the Surfathon! The Make A Wave Project is the ultimate beach-lover’s fundraiser in support of Oceana’s effort to clean and protect our oceans!
